Wednesday, March 17th - Come check us out at Mellow Mushroom at 609 S. Elm St. in downtown Greensboro. We will again be meeting from 5:30pm until about 7:30pm.  Bring a name tag if you have one so people will know you are with Green Drinks.  See you there!

A Little History: In May, 2008 I visited a Green Drinks Gathering in Winston-Salem whereupon I met a few folks from Greensboro.  The thought occurred to me that Greensboro could use something like this - a social way for people with green minds, green hearts, and green passions to gather on a regular basis to meet others who "lean green".  Starting off with an e-mail list of 30 people and an initial gathering of approximately 30-35 people, the events are now regularly attended by 70-80 people and the email list is over 500 people and growing every day through word of mouth, and, as luck would have it some fantastic mentions in the Greensboro News & Record and the downtown magazine 99 Blocks.  So, if you are interested in meeting and greeting other green folks in Greensboro, come on out on the 3rd Wednesday of every month from 5:30 - 7:30.  The venues may change from month to month, but sign up on the email list by sending your email to greendrinksgso at gmail.com and you'll receive notices and updates.
